Mark Wierman joined Ixonia Bank in September 2014 as its Chief Lending Officer and was promoted to President in December 2017. With nearly 35 years of banking experience, Mark is primarily responsible for the Bank’s commercial and consumer lending and new business development efforts, as well as overseeing the retail and operational areas of the Bank. Prior to joining Ixonia Bank, Mark held senior leadership positions with a local, large regional bank and LaSalle Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration – Finance.

Mark is active in several local organizations including serving on the boards of Tall Pines Conservancy, Ausblick Ski Hill, Gethsemane United Methodist Church and on the Finance Committee at the YMCA at Pabst Farms. Mark is also currently serving on the board of the Wisconsin Bankers Association. Mark and his wife reside in the Oconomowoc area and have three adult daughters and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoors activities including boating, skiing, golfing and fishing.
