Twilight Concerts at Fowler Park Announces Its 2023 Season
June 2023: The Lake Country area will again experience another lineup of some of the best live music thanks to Matt Spransy, music producer and the organizer of Twilight Concerts at Fowler Park (438 N Oakwood Ave, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). Exclusively sponsored by Ixonia Bank, the concert series will take place on three Sundays over the course of the summer. The concerts will run from 6:30PM to 8:30PM each night and will feature national touring musicians, including:
- Lee DeWyze with Dave Eggar – Sunday, July 9
Lee is an AMERICAN IDOL WINNER with incredible pipes and passionate delivery. His version of “Hallelluia” brought down the house on American Idol. He is joined by Dave Eggar on cello. You’ve heard the start of COLDPLAY’s “Viva la Vida”? That’s Dave. Together, Lee and Dave are phenomenal!
- Yam Haus – Sunday, August 13
Neon-hued, dancefloor-tailored alternative pop. Yam Haus has racked up nearly 15 million spins on Spotify and YouTube. If you like The Killers, you’ll like Yam Haus!
- Phillip Michael Scales Band – Sunday, September 10
BB KING’s nephew brings us “Dive Bar Soul”: indie rock storytelling coupled with the passion of the blues. Born in Michigan, forged in Chicago, and currently living in Nashville, Phillip made his TV debut on the ELLEN show.
Matt Spransy says “I have put on concerts in my yard for years, and we were starting to outgrow it. And because there seemed to be so much interest in original, live music, I reached out to Mayor Bob Magnus of the City of Oconomowoc to see if we could partner with the City to have it in a park. We then reached out to Ixonia Bank to see if they’d be interested in funding and supporting the concerts, and they jumped on board.”
“It is my goal to see Oconomowoc become a real national center for great live original music. It is already appearing on the radar of many agents and artists, so I think we may be on our way!”
Twilight Concerts are a FREE, family-friendly event. Bring your own chairs and blankets, pack a picnic basket & drinks, and enjoy a magical musical experience with the lake and sunset in the background.
