Ixonia Bank Named a 2025 Future 50 Company by BizTimes Media
July 2025: Ixonia Bank is proud to announce its recognition as a 2025 Future 50 company by BizTimes Media, in partnership with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC). This prestigious award highlights our rapid growth and commitment to excellence in the Milwaukee region, marking a significant milestone in our company’s journey.
The Future 50 program, now in its 36th year, awards the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the Milwaukee area. The selected companies, like Ixonia Bank, have been in business for at least three years and have demonstrated significant revenue and employment growth. Those with the highest levels of growth in recent years are the ones that make the list. It is incredibly rare for financial institutions to win this award, with the last financial institution earning the recognition 15 years ago.
“At Ixonia Bank, we maintain a commitment to advancing innovation within financial solutions. Being named a Future 50 company is an honor that underscores the collective dedication and expertise of our entire team. We value our role within the Milwaukee business community and look forward to continued growth in the area and beyond,” said Greg Larson, CEO of Ixonia Bank.
Ixonia Bank has a growing reputation as a strong boutique commercial and private bank in the region. Over the last two years, the Bank has welcomed six new commercial bankers and two experienced treasury management professionals to the team. The results have been extraordinary. Ixonia Bank recorded a 25.3% year-over-year increase in total loans outstanding from June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and a 104.5% rise in total loans outstanding between June 30, 2022 and June 30, 2025.
“We’re proud to continue the Future 50 program and provide an objective measure of the fastest-growing companies in the Milwaukee region,” said Dan Meyer, publisher and owner of BizTimes Media. “As the region’s only locally-owned business publication, we’re excited to celebrate the companies that are creating jobs and opportunities for thousands of people in our communities.”
The Future 50 companies will be honored at an awards luncheon on Friday, September 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago St., Milwaukee. Hosted by BizTimes Media, the event will bring together the region’s most dynamic and successful companies. To register to attend, visit http://www.biztimes.com/future50.
