Mayor Emily McFarland of Watertown, Wisconsin, speaks with Chris Braatz, Vice President of Commercial Banking with Ixonia Bank, about the exciting projects taking place in Watertown including the renovation and expansion of the library, and the redevelopment of its historic downtown space.  Mayor Emily also shares what she and the City are doing to help make Watertown a thriving business community and make it a destination for new business.

What’s coming next?  While the City is always working to address strategic initiatives like growing the labor base  and investing in childcare solutions, Mayor McFarland shares that the City will shortly be unveiling its business retention and expansion program.  As you will hear, there is a lot of positive momentum happening in Watertown, and local business leaders and investors should take heed of the progress and consider if they can or should participate in the revitalization of the area.
