Linda Gorens-Levey has a remarkable and extensive resume with significant experience evaluating business plans, analyzing financial statements, and assessing credits and capital structures. Prior to joining General Capital in 2015, Ms. Gorens-Levey was a Managing Director at Stark Investments, a global multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm, where she played a key role on the Boards of several portfolio companies. At Stark Investments in various management positions for over 17 years, Linda was responsible for managing the Firm’s portfolio of direct real estate investments, select private equity investments, and joint venture real estate partnerships. Ms. Gorens-Levey previously served as an Associate Director of Investments in the Securities Department at Northwestern Mutual.

Linda also contributes her time and talents to numerous boards in the Milwaukee Area. She served on the Board, Audit, and Executive Committees of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee for 9 years, where she also chaired the Community Impact Committee. She is currently a Trustee of the Medical College of Wisconsin where she serves on the Finance and Investment Committees. In addition, Linda is active in the Greater Milwaukee Committee where she Co-Chaired the Downtown Development Task Force from 2015 to 2019 and is a member of the Finance Committee. Linda Co-Chaired the 50th Anniversary Campaign for the United Performing Arts Fund in 2017 and also served on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business from 2003-2007.

Ms. Gorens-Levey received the Greater Milwaukee Committee’s Mary Ellen Stanek Award for Diversity in Corporate Governance in 2020 and was inducted into the Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Hall of Fame in 2019. Also, in 2019, Linda was the recipient of the BMO Harris Celebrating Women, Women Who Inspire Award. Among other awards received for professional accomplishments, Linda was a 2012 recipient of the Sacajawea Award from Professional Dimensions and the 2015 TEMPO Milwaukee Mentor Award.

Linda holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In 2006, Linda completed her Real Estate Certification through the University of Wisconsin-Madison Executive Education Program. Ms. Gorens-Levey is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
